LittleTheraplay was founded with the goal to provide research-backed Speech and Language Therapy by experienced and trained clinicians to help children with an array of disorders. LittleTheraplay was developed by a mother first and second as a clinician.

JulieAnn Lang M.S CCC-SLP

Founded in 2023, LittleTheraplay is dedicated to providing personalized Speech and Language services in a warm, welcoming, and family-centered environment.

The practice is led by JulieAnn Lang M.S CCC-SLP a Board-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist who earned a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Long Island University–Brooklyn on a full academic scholarship. Working with researchers and professors to examine the iconicity of static AAC devices was an area of research JulieAnn explored. Some researchers and professional affiliations include Pace University, NYU and Yale University. Licensed in both New York and New Jersey, she is trained in PROMPT therapy, a multidimensional approach to treating speech production disorders that addresses the physical and sensory aspects of motor performance.

In 2021 JulieAnn started her Apraxia of speech journey where she completed level 1 Apraxia training. In 2023 advanced DTTC ( Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing ) training was completed at North Eastern University in Boston with a full course scholarship taught by Dr. Edythe Strand. This training taught the fundamentals of assessment and treatment of childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), including Principles of Motor Learning (PML). Since 2023 the practice has successfully diagnosed children with CAS and developed treatment plans that have helped children with motor speech disorders thrive. As of 2026 the practice is pleased to announce it will be collaborating with a prestigious University on apraxia research.

The practice strives to provide experienced and high-quality treatment approaches which encompass the whole child.
