JulieAnn Lang M.S CCC-SLP is a board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. JulieAnn graduated Long Island University-Brooklyn with a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with full academic scholarship. JulieAnn had the honor to study under notable and prestigious researchers in the field of Speech-Language Pathology such as New York University, Yale University and Columbia University. JulieAnn has ten years of experience with evaluating and treating children ages 0-18 with speech, language and feeding disorders. JulieAnn is licensed in both New Jersey and New York. JulieAnn is trained in PROMPT therapy which is a multidimensional approach to speech production disorders that targets physical-sensory aspects of motor performance. JulieAnn is Sequential-Oral-Sensory ( SOS) feeding trained. SOS’s goal is to treat children with feeding disorders. SOS feeding was developed for the picky eater to overcome feeding obstacles. JulieAnn received a full scholarship to Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) training with Dr. Edythe Strand at North Eastern University in Boston of 2022. DTTC is a treatment method designed specifically for children with severe Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). DTTC is a motor-based approach which improves the brain’s ability to plan and program movements for speech. The goal of DTTC is to improve the efficiency of neural processing for the development and refinement of movements. LittleTheraplay was founded in 2023 with the goal to provide research-backed Speech, Language and feeding Therapy by experienced and trained clinicians to help children with an array of disorders. LittleTheraplay was developed by a mother first and second as a clinician. “In 2022 my daughter was born with torticollis I was on the quest for a seasoned clinician who had experience and empathy.” Little Theraplay strives to provide personalized, warm and family-friendly atmosphere for all clients.
